“The latest news concerning the next Batman film is the casting of Joseph Gordon Levitt (Brick, (500) Days of Summer) as the Riddler. As a fan of the actor I consider this great news, but I’m kinda disappointed about the decision to recycle yet another villain who already had his silver screen moment in Batman Forever. The 6 Batman films gave us 10 excellent villains, while The Joker and Two-Face are the two who enjoyed a second run in Nolan’s current revival. Batman has amassed a collection of over 100 villains in the course of the comic strip run, so the variety is wide.
